دشن قطاع المرأة في منظمة S C R S D O حملة ال 16 يوم لمناهضة العنف ضد النساء والفتيات في قاعة المنظمة بكاومبي يوم الأحد الموافق 26/11/2023 فعالية اشتملت على توعية ، دعم نفسي ، جلسات تعافي شارك فيها عدد من النساء والشابات والشباب تحت شعار ( لا عذر للعنف ضد النساء والفتيات ) .
حيث ابتدر الأستاذ سعد الدين عبد الماجد الياس المدير التنفيذي للمنظمة الحديث عن المواثيق والعهود الدولية والقرارات المتعلقة بشان المرأة مبينا ان حقوق المرأة تنتزع عبر صاحبات المصلحة ، كما بين الفروقات بين القانون الدولي والقانون المحلي في التطبيق . وأكد على اهتمام المنظمة بالحقوق القانونية للنساء على وجه الخصوص .
في ذات السياق قدمت الدكتورة نهى يوسف اضاءات حول القرار 1325 التي أصدرته الأمم المتحدة ، وأكدت على ضرورة رفع الوعي بالقرار لاهميته في حماية النساء في أوقات النزاع وبناء السلام ، مشيرة الى الاوضاع اللإنسانية في السودان وما تتعرض إليه النساء من اغتصابات والاتجار بهن .
يأكد ضرورة بذل مجهودات في مجال الوعي والتنظيم وبناء الشبكات لمناصرة قضايا النساء .
أيضا تحدثت الأستاذة محاسن اتيم ناشطة مجتمعية عن مفاهيم العنف المبني على النوع الإجتماعي واشكاله وانواعه وآليات القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة ، وعرضت مسارات القوانين المناهضة للعنف ضد النساء والوصول للمساواة النوعية .
وفي الجزء الأخير من الفعالية قدمت الأستاذة زينب خالد جلسة تعافي للمشاركات والمشاركين نالت الرضى والاستحسان .
The Women’s Sector of the Sudanese Community Refugees Sustainable Development organization (SCRSDO) launched the 16-day activism against gender-based violence in the organization’s hall in Kawempe on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
The event included awareness, psychosocial support, and recovery sessions in which a number of women, girls, and men participated under the slogan “No Excuse for Violence against Women and Girls”
Mr. Saad Al-Din Abdel-Majid Elias , the executive director of the organization, initiated a discussion about international covenants and agreements and decisions related to women, emphasizing that women’s rights are obtained through stakeholders. He also explained the differences between international law and national law in implementation. He emphasized the organization’s interest in women’s legal rights in particular.
In the same context, Dr. Noha Youssef provided insights on UN Resolution 1325 and stressed the importance of raising awareness about the resolution for protecting women in times of conflict and peacebuilding, pointing out the humanitarian situations in Sudan and what women are subjected to such as rape and trafficking. She emphasized the need to make efforts in raising awareness, organizing, and building networks to advocate for women’s issues.
Ms. Mahasen Atim , a social activist, spoke about concepts of gender-based violence, its forms, types, and mechanisms for eliminating all forms of discrimination against women. She presented pathways for laws opposing violence against women and achieving gender equality. In the final part of the event.
Ms. Zeinab Khalid conducted a recovery session for participants, which was well received and appreciated.
