في خطوة هامة نحو تعزيز جهودها الإنسانية، وقعت منظمة أطباء السودان للسلام والتنمية (SDPD) مذكرة تفاهم مع المفوضية العامة للاجئين (OPM) في أوغندا. تهدف هذه المذكرة إلى تسهيل وتوسيع نطاق عمل المنظمة داخل وخارج معسكرات اللاجئين في أوغندا، مما يفتح آفاقا جديدة لتقديم الدعم الطبي للمجتمعات المحتاجة.
يتزامن توقيع هذه المذكرة مع استعدادات منظمة أطباء السودان للسلام والتنمية لإطلاق سلسلة من البرامج الطبية المكثفة ابتداءً من منتصف يونيو القادم. تستقبل المنظمة في هذه الفترة نخبة من الطبيبات والأطباء السودانيين المتخصصين القادمين من المملكة المتحدة ودول الخليج العربي، لإقامة أيام علاجية متخصصة في مختلف المجالات الطبية. سيتم الإعلان عن تفاصيل هذه التخصصات والمواعيد الدقيقة في الأيام القادمة.
ومن المقرر أن تستقبل المنظمة مجموعة أخرى من الكوادر الطبية المتطوعة في منتصف شهر أغسطس القادم، مما يؤكد التزامها المستمر بتقديم أفضل الخدمات الصحية الممكنة.
بالإضافة إلى هذه المبادرات، تعمل منظمة أطباء السودان للسلام والتنمية على تنسيق برامج وأيام علاجية أخرى بالتعاون مع عدد من المستشفيات الرائدة في أوغندا، سعيًا لتقديم رعاية طبية شاملة ومتكاملة للاجئين والمجتمعات المضيفة.
تؤكد هذه الخطوات التزام منظمة أطباء السودان للسلام والتنمية بالعمل الإنساني وتقديم المساعدة الطبية لمن هم في أمس الحاجة إليها، وتعتبر مذكرة التفاهم مع المفوضية العامة للاجئين بأوغندا حجر الزاوية في مساعيها الرامية إلى تحسين الظروف الصحية للاجئين والمساهمة في التنمية الشاملة للمجتمعات المتضررة.
SUDAN DOCTORS FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT (SDPD) SIGNS (MoU) WITH GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA REPRESENTED BY OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER -DEPARTMENT OF REFUGEES TO PROMOTE MEDICAL SERVICES FOR REFUGEES IN KAMPALA UGANDA
SDPD in a significant step toward strengthening its humanitarian efforts, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Uganda. This MoU aims to facilitate and expand the organization’s work inside and outside refugee camps in Uganda, for providing humaiterian and medical support to communities in need.
The signing of this MoU coincides with SDPD’s preparations to launch a series of intensive medical programs starting in mid-June 2025. During this period, the organization is welcoming a group of Sudanese doctors and specialists from the United Kingdom and the Gulf States to hold specialized treatment days (Camps) in various medical fields. Details will be announced in the upcoming days.
SDPD also is scheduled to receive another group of volunteer medical staff in mid-August this year, confirming its ongoing commitment to providing the best possible health services.
SDPD in addition to these initiatives, is coordinating other programs and treatment days (Camps) in collaboration with several leading leading hospitals hospita in Uganda, seeking to provide comprehensive and integrated medical care to refugees and host communities.
