Sudan Doctor for Peace and Development (SDPD) Holds a medical camp in Uganda – Peyali

In collaboration with a Group of professional and civil society initiatives, the Ugandan Refugee Community Leadership Office, Sudan Doctors for Peace and Development Organization (SDPD) is organizing free medical treatment days (Camp) in Kriandungu -Camp in Peyali and Kampala.
These treatment days (camp) will take place on the 16th and 17th of June 2025 in Kriandungu Camp, while they will begin in Kampala on the 18th and 19th. The camp aims to provide various medical services to the targeted refugee and local community groups in these areas.
Specialized treatments will include:
Nutritional assessment: to help individuals understand their nutritional needs and improve their health.
Physiotherapy: to provide therapeutic solutions for people with physical injuries or mobility difficulties.
Occupational therapy: to help individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities.
Assessment of children with special needs: to provide specialized support to children with various challenges.
Medical clinics: including orthopedics, minor injuries, urology, dentistry, and pediatric allergy clinics.
These therapeutic days will provide a safe environment for children to play and benefit from educational and health activities, contributing to an overall improvement in their quality of life.
This initiative is an important step in strengthening health services for communities in need and integrating civil and professional initiatives to support refugees and local communities in the difficult circumstances they face.
