أمرت المحكمة العليا في أوغندا الحكومة بدفع تعويضات مالية قدرها 10 ملايين شلن لكل ضحية من ضحايا جرائم الحرب التي ارتكبتها جيش الرب للمقاومة (LRA) في شمال أوغندا. جاء هذا الحكم بعد دعوى قضائية رفعها الضحايا الذين عانوا من انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوق الإنسان خلال النزاع المسلح. وأكدت المحكمة أن الحكومة مسؤولة عن تعويض الضحايا عن الأضرار النفسية والجسدية التي لحقت بهم نتيجة لهذه الجرائم.
